 | Challenge: IABC of Kansas city gives out Bronze Quill awards to honor outstanding achievement in the area of Communications. Their goal: make an awards website that be a resource to announce award criteria, application process, prior samples of work, among a few others and also provide a means to register to attend the event. The website should have content management abilities meaning editors should be able to update through a WYSIWYG editor and to top it off, do it all on a shoe-string budget. |
| Solution:
Yoodle listened and provided IABC of KC, a simple yet effective website that could do everything they had asked for. The project's budget was not going to support implementing the site on a mid sized content management system like Ektron. We had to get creative. We picked up an open source system and customized it within a week to the exact requirements. | Result:
A cutting edge awards website for the first time that is easy to update and keep in-sync with awards processes from submission to awards announcements to the afterawrds activities. |
